I remember this as I'd read the post the day before and saw the sudden massive volatility the moment the clocked ticked 1pm UTC. It was the most violent price action I've seen over the last 3 years monitoring the bitcoin price action - it was pure brutality on a chart. There must have been an insane amount of money pumping in and out of the market.

However, not only did it prove his credibility and raise questions over China's real position on bitcoin (accumulation?), but he was even correct with his forecast that bitcoin would go on to rise to 70k.
