Argent Wallet Questions

I couldn't find Argent's sub so I'm posting this here. I was looking into Argent Wallet and have not been able to find clear answers to some of my questions. Their website is less than forthcoming.

1. Are the web ext and iOS app wallets really incompatible? Does that mean I'd have to use my phone every time I wanted to use Argent Wallet with web dApps? This supposes that I don't want to store funds in both the web ext and app versions. Just one.
2. I though there used to be a subscription for Argent, but it looks like it's free now. However, I've read posts from people claiming that they hit you with an activation fee after you purchase funds.
3. No seed phrase? From what I've read, this is a huge red flag. They store your backup codes and you can only receive them 48 hours after request. If Argent goes under, so does your wallet. Yet they claim that this is non-custodial? In what timeline is having your keys exclusively owned by a company considered non-custodial?
4. Can I buy NFT's from websites like Blur/OpenSea at a reduced gas fee due to Argent's L2? For example, Blur charges a $20-ish gas fee as of today's date. Argent claims to lower gas fees by "100x". Does this mean that it would cost me $0.20 in gas to buy an NFT from Blur?
