Those who know more about Bitcoin than i do, i'm hopeful you can help clear up an issue i hypothesised very roughly.
Considering communication errors can occour, ultimately leading to corruption of the data.
Does Bitcoin rely soley on the error detection protocols of the Data-link layer and the error control protocols of the Transport layer ?
Hopefully someone smarter than me can help clarify, cheers.
