I’m a simple BC-only trader, got about one coin. I like to ride the roller coaster. Got in through Fidelity last winter when they didn’t charge commissions. Then in early summer they started charging 1% to buy & 1% to sell & I got stuck in the doldrums. Finally, thanks to last week, I was able to break free. So I’m looking at Coinbase & Robinhood. I’ve already got a Coinbase account that I set up to learn on. And one thing I learned was their mobile app was not so great, plus they charged a higher commission on trades using their app. Fidelity’s was great, and I hear Robinhood’s is as well. Obviously it would be easier and faster to just move the funds to a pre-existing account, but I’d like to make the right choice. Also, while I’m at it, I’d like to set up my hardware wallet to use in conjunction with the new exchange. Any thoughts from your experience?
