So I've recently came back to my cryptocurrency portfolio and have locked in some profits for Bitcoin and Eth, I'm not debating on whether I want to wait for a dip before I rebuy. I say this because after the recent surge I'm expecting a pullback and I'll buy back in at that point.
Firstly, am I justified to expect a pullback, then trying to time my entry? I know there's a phrase, "time IN the market is better than timing the market" is that case true for Crypto as well? This isn't exactly the S&P500.
Secondly, should I DCA back in instead, am I being a bit silly thinking I can predict it's movements on such a large timeframe or should I just go in with the halving coming up, where the prices will undoubtedly rise?
Any advice is appreciated.
