Do Your Own Research (DYOR)

I'm interested about learning more into crypto and/or investing in general. It seems like almost every post mentions DYOR (which is fine and as people should) but that's all.

So my question/advice I'm looking for is where are some reputable places to learn about crypto/crypto investing? Telling someone Coinmarketcap or to go read any particular token is pretty pointless especially if you don't know what you're looking at or reading (plus aren't whitepapers supposed to act like a sales pitch not like a scam warning?)
