Getting a coin to go viral...

We often see posts here about how to generate a use case or cases for a crypto coin, throwing together a mix of ideas from the innovative to some a little more far-fetched. What i can't recall specifically seeing though, is a brainstorming of ideas about how to help in manifesting the incidence of a coin going viral. Could one sub of hopefuls manage to do it?

We often hear (for example with Moons) how it'd be so easy for a small market cap coin to blow up in price overnight, but what are some realistic ways to initiate that? Are there any? With 6 million accounts across here, there has to be a good deal of influence dispersed amongst us. Has anyone tried with specific intention to get any coin to go viral? Any reasons not to right now; are there cons - like wanting to wait for a bull market to keep momentum? Anyone up for the challenge?
