Green wallet fucked up

I have some Sats in a green wallet soft wallet that I seem to have lost access to. When I set it up, the app asked if I wanted a 12 or 24 word mnemonic password (which may have been a red flag). I opted for the 12 word password. I had used the password in the past but let that wallet lie dormant for a while. After getting a new phone and reinstalling the app, the password no longer seems to work. The app says “connection failed”. The app works with other wallets with 24 word passwords. Is there any hope that I can recover my toshis?
