Man does a "real" transaction differently than the "practice" transaction - it doesn't work because he sends it over the wrong network. He then writes a FUD crypto article on the BBC about how cryptocurrency is too hard and complicated even for a savvy "oil engineer" who was "following instructions closely".
All he had to do was select the same options as the practice transaction and send it to the same address.
