Inorganic shilling, learn to recognize it and stay away. PiNetwork & BONK

If you've been here long enough you'll notice that every now and then some new projects will pop up out of the blue. Sometimes it's something you may have noticed before that just wasn't on your radar, but other times it's something that out of the blue is suddenly shilled in such a way that it just feels inorganic and odd.

We just saw BONK pop out of nowhere trying to be there next Doge/Shiba hype shitcoin, and now out of nowhere everyone on Twitter is trying to pump something called PiNetwork, yet another coin you can mine on your phone while their website claims to be 'the first digital currency you can mine on your phone'. Nothing new at all, nothing interesting at all, and yet everyone on Twitter from one day to the next is hailing it as the second coming of Jesus.

Learn to recognize artificial pump & dumps. These people are obviously getting paid for this. Others are jumping on board to benefit from it trending in the twitter algo. But whenever a project has this sort of fake popularity behind it, while being nothing special, just stay the hell away. It might be tempting to try and pump and get out before the next loser, but these things are toxic to the entire crypto space. Just stay away from these. You'll get burned. And this crap hurts newbies that otherwise might stick around, and attracts regulators in a bad way.
