Is getting a part time job to dca kinda stupid.....

Hey lads and lasses! So I'll be moving to the UK soon and by looking at part time jobs I can make around 350-400 pounds a month ( 464-530 usd) Now I'm blessed to be from somewhat of an financially well off family so they agreed to give me about 1-1.2k (1.3k-1.6k usd )pounds a month to survive as a 17 year old

Now I am incredibly grateful but I know me going abroad will put a strain on family finances and I don't/won't feel comfortable asking money for leasure activity let alone investing in crypto xD

So my plan is to somewhat track expenses and budget and pick a part time job which will get me some money

Now is it kinda stupid for me to dca like 100-150 pounds from My part time job? I js think the money would be better spent to become a bit more financially liberated but I would be reliant on my parents till I actually work a full time job

So sorry for the rant XD do you think I should take a part time job mainly for the sole reason to dca? (I'll most probably safe up or spend the rest of my wage on leasure)

If you were in my shoes what woud you do? (Sorry for the extremely long post I might js be ranting :3 )
