After the second cycle I started keeping a basic journal for every Bitcoin move I made. Date, amount, reason at the time, and one line on what the chain looked like then. Scanning those entries now shows the same urges repeating, only the dates and block heights change. Nothing dramatic, just a reminder that the protocol keeps doing what it did before anyone called it a cycle. The dry part is realizing most of my early notes still hold up without any updates.
