![]() | This morning, approximately 130 million USD worth of tokens were unexpectedly withdrawn from the cross-chain contracts implemented by Multichain to an unidentified wallet address. The development team at Multichain has not yet determined the underlying issue. The project also advises all users to temporarily suspend the use of services and revoke all contracts related to Multichain. After a period of time, on-chain researchers have tracked $127.3M in locked assets on Multichain were abnormally moved to 6 fresh addresses between 9 & 6hrs ago. Most affected assets are USDC, WBTC & WETH (total: $107M). These addresses still hold most assets, except for ICE, all of which were sent to the Null address. Here are the 6 Addresses:
