My take on Reddit Avatars

I saw a few posts and comments knocking the avatars over the past week+. Most are saying how they are a waste of money. So here's my two cents.

A waste of money for one person is not for another. People saying how the avatars are a waste of money don't seem to understand the term "waste of money" is absolutely subjective to each individual. I think V-Bucks, CS:GO cases, COD points, bonds on RS, discord nitro, sports betting, etc, etc, are all exanples of a waste of money. But, that doesn't mean those things and many others like it, are to you.

Another thing I've seen a few times in the comments is referring to how bad of an investment avatars are. Now I can't speak on 3rd party sales or even what certain avatar NFTs go for. However, if somone thinks buying one and holding will make it more valuable, more power to them. Hold it, enjoy it, and don't let anyone tell you it's not wise or a good investment. No one knows how much it may be worth, could be $1,000 or $1. NO ONE KNOWS THE FUTURE. This applys to crypto investments and really any investments. No one can predict what will happen in a week, a month, a year. Believe in yourself and your decisions.

Why did I buy avatars?

Simple. I enjoy them. I don't see them as an investment, I don't see them as a waste, I don't see them in any light other than what they are, Reddit Avatars. I enjoy the art and like the fact that I was able to change my avatar from the free NFT given out for the superbowl, lol. I lost out on the first 2 avatar drops and made sure I picked up any that I liked this round.

Ultimately, whether or not to buy a Reddit avatar is a personal decision that depends on your individual preferences and budget. Don't let others influence you in any decisions you make. Stand by your decisions for the better and for the worse.
