I've been running a lightning node since 2019. Much to my surprise, LNBig opened a channel a few months ago, significantly larger than the other channels I have. No routing over that channel occurred since. Given the current fee situation, I thought I could give lightning a chance for my DCA, it might just work due to that juicy channel. And lo and behold, the transfer went through immediately, zero fees! I must say, that was a pleasant experience.
