Vanguard's federal money market account is paying basically the federal funds rate. The fed is running their money printer to make these interest payments. For those of us with savings who've lived through a decade of interest rate suppression this feels like free money.
I plan on taking that free money and buying bitcoin with it. This is several thousand per month of free satoshis from my perspective.
