![]() | Today I learned that USDT has a fee implementation that can be activated at any time. As of right now the maximum fee has been set as 0 but that could change in the future. Below I attack an image of the code. Imagine if USDT saw a sudden massive amount of withdrawals. Tether could change the fee that is set to 0, to disincentive anyone to transfer their USDT. This is just pure speculation, but it's certainly very suspicious why they do have built in functionality that could implement a fee that can be activated anytime for every transfer call.
