Are web3 developers really getting paid $300k at entry level ? I am only hearing stories but I asked around and found a guy on reddit who claims to be earning $300k TC working remotely in India. That threw me off. Why would any crypto startup offer $300k for a guy living in India? And that too at entry level(he had like 7 months experience )? Like what ?
Why would any startup even offer US salaries for someone living in India ? That doesn't make any sense from monetory point of view as there are plenty of talented professionals in the US.
Another one I heard was $500k and $100k remotely from India. The $500k one was for someone with 4 years experience though.
Are these salaries feasible in the web3 space or am I hearing much BS ?
Are startups really paying US salaries to professionals in India ? If yes, why ? Wouldn't it be stupid from a monetary point of view ?
