What is your pet peeve in the crypto community?

So as the title says, what’s your pet peeve when it comes to crypto?

(1)The biggest thing that gets on my nerves lately is when people start telling others what they should do with their money. “You should definitely buy this” or “you’re stupid for selling”. It’s their money! Let them do as they please!

(2) when people have some strange unfounded loyalty to an exchange. CDC springs to mind. People act as if they own shares in the company and treat every other exchange as competition. One comment that I always remember about CDC was “I don’t mind taking the cuts and losing a bit as long as the company is doing ok” ????‍♂️ FFS. We are here to make money.

(3) people laughing at other peoples losses. This one speaks for itself really. Example being people laughing at those who lost money in the collapse of other exchanges when in reality it damages the entire crypto community. New investors aren’t too inclined to join us if they are reading news that exchanges are collapsing and thousands of people are losing money.

(4) the news headlines… not a mention when btc goes up 5% or 10% but when it drops there’s hysteria “Bitcoin plummeted” “Bitcoin collapsed” etc.

Things changed quite quickly in just a couple of years. People used to support each other and offer advice, now people see it as a micky measuring contest and want to see others burn, forgetting about the bigger picture.
