Why Do Most Crypto Companies Use Telegram This Cycle As The Main Form Of Communication Vs. Discord Last Cycle?

In 2021, it seemed all of the new coins and NFTs coming out used Discord as the main form of communication. I found it really useful. There is a lot you can do with Discord. Now, it seems that no one even has a Discord, and everyone uses Telegram instead. I don't get it. Telegram seems like a terrible platform for community use. Am I missing something? Telegram seems to me to just be an endless stream of unorganized posts mostly filled with spam. There are no channels that I can see. Did Discord get pushed to the wayside because there were too many scammers? I don't see how Telegram is any different, and it seems much less useful.
